The technology bridge between Asia-Pacific and Latin America
Asian companies with strong products but no Latin American infrastructure use Simez as their commercial and operational front in the region. Latin American tech companies use Simez as their entry vehicle into Asia. Both directions are core to what we are — the bridge is the product.
Get in touchAbout Simez
Simez K.K. is a Tokyo company operating a two-way bridge for technology companies — IT services, SaaS, AI and robotics — between Asia-Pacific and Latin America. A small core team, capacity assembled in-country per engagement, and an AI-agent operations layer let us run the kind of presence that used to require a local subsidiary, at a fraction of the footprint.
Six nodes, two axes
We are present on both sides of the corridor, and we work both directions with the same depth.
-
Latin America axis
- Mexico Largest Spanish-speaking market; nearshore momentum; commercial network.
- Colombia Delivery coordination hub; engineering talent; operating network.
- Chile The region's most digitally mature economy; commercial and technology network.
-
Asia-Pacific axis
- Japan (Tokyo — HQ) Operating entity, team on the ground, enterprise credibility.
- Hong Kong Gateway to mainland China's robotics and industrial-AI vendors looking at Latin America.
- Singapore Southeast Asia hub; USD/SGD-denominated clients; reach into Australia and New Zealand.
Clients on the Asian side are not limited to these three nodes: Southeast Asian and Australia/New Zealand technology companies targeting Latin America are served through the Singapore node.
Three service lines
Selling development hours is a crowded, AI-disrupted market. What Simez sells is presence — the commercial, operational and human infrastructure a company needs in order to exist in a new region, built on demand and run lean on an AI-agent layer.
-
Market Entry & Commercial Representation
Simez operates as your local front in the target region: lead generation and qualification on the AI-agent stack, a local-language sales cycle, contract negotiation, billing in local currency, customer support (L1 on agents, L2 escalated to your HQ with translated context), and event and partner representation. Asia→LATAM runs in Spanish from the Mexico–Colombia–Chile axis; LATAM→Asia runs in Japanese and English from Tokyo, with the Hong Kong and Singapore nodes activated per client.
-
Team & Operations Scaffolding
Simez configures your own capability in the operating countries, on demand: engineering, operations and support teams sourced, vetted, contracted and managed in-country — plus incorporation and entity-setup assistance (company constitution, registered address, local compliance, accounting and bank setup through vetted local partners). You get a functioning local organization without opening an office blind.
-
Advisory & Exploration
Fractional executive roles for international expansion, market assessments, curated exploration trips in either region (qualified agendas, interpretation, follow-up pipeline), commercial representation at conferences and negotiations, and cross-cultural enablement for teams starting to work across the corridor.
Cross-cutting: the AI-agent operations layer
Every service line runs on custom AI agents built for the client during a 3–4 week setup: commercial agents for qualification, CRM and reporting to HQ in the client's language; support agents handling L1 in the market's language; operations agents for billing, SLA tracking and monthly reporting. This is the mechanism that lets a small company run multi-country operations — and the reason the economics work for mid-market clients whose regional revenue would never justify a traditional subsidiary.
Why Simez
The mid-market Asia⇄Latin America corridor has no incumbent. That is the position.
-
Local on both sides
Six nodes across two axes. A Japanese operating entity plus commercial and technical networks built in Mexico, Colombia and Chile. We do not make introductions — we operate.
-
Lean core, elastic capacity
A minimal fixed core. Engineering, operations and support are configured in-country, per client, only once an engagement is signed.
-
AI-agent operations
Lead qualification, L1 support and reporting run on AI agents. People handle the exceptions and the relationships.
-
Follow-the-sun
The 10–14 hour Asia–LATAM offset becomes a continuous handoff cycle: what you send at the end of your day is waiting for you the next morning.
